Science Advances, the new, open-access journal from AAAS, is making waves with original research that advances the frontiers of interdisciplinary science. We’re now preparing an exciting Special Series, Advances in Bioelectronics, showcasing important work that has potential global impact.

We are seeking papers in which new materials, devices, and form factors, or a better understanding of the biotic/abiotic interface lead to significant advances in performance and lifetime, dramatically extend current capabilities, or open new fields of application in healthcare. The focus should be on in vivo applications, with an emphasis on work showing clinical potential.

You are invited to submit your research on bioelectronics to the series, and if our guest editors select your manuscript for publication, we’ll waive all APCs. Science Advances offers expert editing, rapid publication, and all the marketing clout you’d expect from the publisher of Science.

If you have any questions, please contact our editors.

Science Advances is AAAS’s first multidisciplinary, online-only publication that combines the innovative findings you expect from a journal like Science, with a publicly accessible format to serve a vast and growing global readership. The journal publishes groundbreaking research articles and comprehensive reviews—from astronomy and bioscience, to mechanical engineering and quantum physics—allowing extended lengths that afford authors the opportunity to present comprehensive data and detailed discussion.
